Antwerp take 2 pt. 1

After discovering Kulminator during a daytrip from Bruxelles a couple weeks ago, I decided to return to Antwerp in full force following Ireland. This is a rough recap of the actual beers that I tried tonight:

De Struise Black Albert batch '0', Rodenbach Vintage 2008, Koningshoeven La Trappe Quercus 2011, De Struise Black Damnation IV Coffee Club, a special version of De Struise Cuvée Delphine (250ml bottle of Black Albert aged for two years in Four Roses barrels), De Struise Ignis & Flamma, and God knows what else. Yeah baby yeah!

Pretty decent lineup. Got to chat it up for a few hours with the the man and his wife (with the help of a professional simultaneous translator). They are real characters and a lot of fun, including the translator who is himself a very serious craft beer aficionado.
