arrival in Galway, Ireland

Made my way north from Luxembourg, up through Belgium, and underwater to central London via high-speed rail, took the tube a few stops, then hopped on another heavy rail for 50 miles to London Southend Airport, then took a small twin prop plane to Galway in western Ireland, then a taxi to my tiny B&B. That's right... planes, trains, and automobiles.

Needless to say, after all of that tomfoolery I was damhungry. So I walked myself over to McDonagh's Seafood House for some fish and chips.

Then, at the insistence of my B&B host Eddie Fitzgerald, I ventured off for a pint o' Guinness at The Quays Pub. It was a Saturday at about 10:30pm and was therefore quite lively. A fun bunch.
