Ragusa

Had one last pistacchio di Bronte granita at Bam Bar before departing Taormina. This particular granita is made from a type of pistacchio nut grown only in the small town of Bronte near Taormina. It is stunningly tasty.

Pre-espresso Beethoven.

I looked into buying some of the special pistacchio nuts to snack on, but decided not to upon discovering that they cost €35/kg.

Arrived in Ragusa in the early afternoon. Gorgeous little town. I found Sicilians to be extremely friendly and generous people. The town of Ragusa is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

This parallel parking job impressed me. The Fiat was actually in contact with the building.

Went down to the Marina di Ragusa for some beach time. Apparently many others had the same plan that day.

The food in Sicilia is awesome.
