Visiting the Carl Milles sculpture garden was high on my list. It was impressive collection in an equally impressive setting. Many of the works reminded me of Aristides Demetrios' "Skydivers" in Fashion Island in Newport Beach, one of my very favorite sculptures as a child.
When entering the museum, this is the first space you see (works by another artist). A serene sense of happiness came over me as I walked down the steps and entered it. Good art leaves an emotional imprint on you.
