Copenhagen - Roskilde

I've been in Copenhagen for six days now, and behind on my posts, but it's because of too much fun and sightseeing. The weather has been extraordinarily nice throughout.

Journeyed beyond Copenhagen to visit Roskilde Domkirke (UNESCO). Most impressive red brick cathedral with beautifully detailed interior; contains all the Danish royal tombs. Hired a tour guide who did a great job explaining the history of Roskilde.





















Just inside the Domkirke is an animated medieval clock that comes to life when it strikes the hour: St. Jørgen runs out on his horse to slay the dragon... the hour is marked by the dragon's squeal of death! Cool.
